The urban Big Bang that exploded in Spain circa 2017 gave rise to a whole sonic universe that continues to expand, with all that that brings with it: constantly shifting rules, micro-scenes that vanish before anyone has even had the chance to consider them micro-scenes, and a certain confusion. A breeding ground where only genuine and distinctive talent manages to survive. Having secured his place on the scene over five years ago with the release of Lazos y Nudos, his debut album, ABHIR now observes this volatile climate from the outside. Or rather: from above.

A well-deserved position of privilege that he has built up little by little, from his beginnings as a rising star on the prolific Canarian music scene to the recent release of ULTRASWAN, his new album, a showcase of ambition and versatility. Along the way, milestones such as his participation in the historic remix of Cayó la Noche, the release of BROWN BOY—the work through which he publicly connected with his Hindu roots—or his contributions to the latest albums by Diego 900, Ralphie Choo, Juicy BAE, Recycled J and RALY.

ABHIR will present ULTRASWAN on 18th December in Barcelona: Razzmatazz will host the biggest concert of his career to date in the city.
