Combinar las dotes de producción de Quincy Jones con el hedonismo bailable de Daft Punk no es tarea fácil, pero éste dúo de Australia parece manejar ambas a la perfección. Siempre bajo el paraguas del balearic más refinado y el nu-disco más glam. En 2010 Crave You les abrió las puertas a giras por Europa y Japón, además de su inclusión en los carteles de festivales como Parklife. Remixes para Lowbrows, Bag Raiders, The C90s, Holy Ghost  o Cut Copy, un bombazo,  son una  clara muestra de su saber hacer, y su 70’s mixtape grabada en el Paris Social Club, la demostración de que se nutren de los sonidos de siempre para dar lugar a un producto más que actual. Pero sería con su single Claire de Lune en 2012  que se incluiría en su maravilloso primer álbum Down To Earth en 2014. El pasado 2021 FF publicaron su último álbum Forever, con colaboraciones de Say Lou Lou o Emma Louise.

DJ2D2 is a clear example of how to stand out on the national and international scene thanks to his deep knowledge of urban trends, an always-exquisite taste and an unerring technical and professional application in the DJ booth. We can say he’s an “all genres” type of DJ. His CV is impressive, with sets at the most prestigious festivals and clubs in Spain, including several Sónar appearances. It is difficult to find a dj as prestigious and popular, widely respected by the press and public alike, always being voted as one of the best DJs in the country, without a record production to his name.

 Since 2010 he’s pioneering in the art of playing video sets with the classical DJ tools: two turntables and one mixer. He mixes video clips of different genres making a visual and audio collage.

 In addition to his numerous sets in clubs and festivals around, David Pérez (DJ2D2’s real name) has an extensive experience selecting the soundtrack in all kinds of events.
